Life is messy and sometimes trusting God can feel that way, too. We think church should be a place where you can be honest about both. Around here, we’re learning to follow Jesus right in the middle of real life and all that comes with it.

At Heartland, you don’t need to have all the answers or be a perfect, polished person to fit in. We’re just ordinary people learning to live like Jesus would if he were in our shoes.

We believe that following Jesus isn’t just about gathering on Sundays. It’s about what we do Monday – Saturday. It grows in everyday moments like when we’re at the dinner table or on the job. We want to be people who bring others closer to Jesus right where life actually happens.

So wherever you’re coming from know you’re welcome here! Bring your story, your questions, your laughter, your doubts—all of it. We’re glad you’re with us on this journey!

We Are Welcoming

We welcome everyone because we have experienced the thrill of being welcomed by God. We were once a mess, in fact at times we still are a mess, but God willingly welcomes us through the Cross-stretched arms of Jesus and He is in the process of transforming us! Jesus gave His life so we could experience real life and be part of His forever family. God is delighted to see you here. We are too!

We Are Real

What you see is what you get around here! We are real, because pretending to have it all together is no way to live. We are all in the process of learning what it means to follow Jesus. Part of this process includes understanding the value of being transparent and honest, choosing to live in intentionally vulnerable relationships with one another despite our mess.

We Are Transforming

We can’t make any real, lasting changes through our own power, but with the help of God’s Spirit, we are becoming more and more like Jesus. We welcome you where you are, but love you too much to allow you to stay there. As we seek to follow Jesus, the result is a community of people that are transforming each and every day. Every. Single. One. Of. Us. It’s our mission for this transformation to overflow into our community and world!

Here’s what you can expect when you visit:

You’ll be greeted by people waving to you on your way up the driveway and as you come in the door.  Creating a welcoming environment is one of our key values.  Everyone has been welcomed by God and we want you to experience that!

Bringing kids with you? As you arrive, take a left at the top of the entrance drive to head toward our HCC KIDS area (South entrance). There, you’ll be able to check your children into a safe, age-appropriate environment designed to help them grow in faith, build friendships, and have a whole lot of fun along the way!

If not, then you’ll turn right, park, and come through our main entrance. Once inside, our lobby is open concept with plenty of room for conversations and enjoying fresh donuts and coffee.  We start promptly at our service times of 9:00am and 10:30am.  

We have you in mind for every service.  We want first-time guests to feel welcomed and have an accessible, impactful experience of God.  Everything from music, lights, teaching, and spiritual practices like communion and baptism are designed to help you encounter Jesus.
