Palm Sunday invites us to rethink what true power looks like. While military parades showcase strength, dominance, and victory, Jesus entered Jerusalem in a radically different way—riding on a humble donkey. Instead of embodying the conquering king people expected, He revealed a kingdom marked by peace, service, and sacrifice. The crowds shouted “Hosanna,” hoping for political rescue, yet many missed the deeper truth: Jesus came not to overthrow Rome, but to transform hearts.
Today, we can fall into the same trap—seeking a Savior who aligns with our agendas rather than embracing the King who offers grace, love, and redemption. Jesus doesn’t ride in with force; He moves toward the cross. The question remains: are we willing to accept Him as He truly is?
