Standalone Sermon | Titus 2:1-14

Think about the people who shaped your faith. Maybe it was a parent, grandparent, teacher, friend, or coworker. Their influence probably wasn’t rooted in perfection but in a life that pointed you toward Jesus.
In Titus 2, Paul encourages mature believers to invest in the next generation. Wisdom isn’t simply something that comes with age, it’s formed through a lifelong process of allowing God to transform us. As followers of Jesus, we’re always becoming someone, and who we’re becoming matters for those watching our lives.
Transformation begins with vulnerability. When we’re honest about our struggles and invite Jesus to heal our wounds, our stories become powerful testimonies of His grace. As Richard Rohr writes, “What we don’t transform, we will transmit.” But the opposite is also true: transformed people help transform people.
This week, ask God who needs encouragement from you. Send a text. Write a note. Share a piece of your story. You never know how God might use your simple act of faithfulness to shape someone else’s journey.
Because we’re not just blessed for ourselves, we’re blessed to be a blessing.
