Mother’s Day is a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact a mother’s faith can have on future generations. In 2 Timothy 1:1-5, we’re reminded that Timothy’s sincere faith was first modeled by his mother Eunice and grandmother Lois. Their example shaped the foundation of his life and ministry.
While no parent is perfect, faithful moms and grandmothers show God’s love through everyday acts of sacrifice, prayer, encouragement, and perseverance. Their influence often points children toward Jesus in powerful ways.
It’s important to remember and thank those who helped shape our faith journey. Whether it was a parent, grandparent, or mentor, their example matters more than they may realize. A mother’s faith today can truly become a child’s foundation tomorrow.
