In a world filled with constant fears from alarming news cycles to personal anxieties—it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. This sermon launches a series called Fear Not, not by denying fear’s existence, but by reframing how we respond to it. Drawing from Isaiah 41:8–10, we’re reminded that even in seasons of exile—when we feel distant, uncertain, or forgotten—God’s presence remains constant.
The Israelites faced real fear in captivity, yet God reassured them: “Do not fear, for I am with you.” This promise still holds true today. Fear may not disappear, but it no longer has to define us. When we surrender our worries to God, we discover His strength sustaining us through every storm. We are not abandoned—we are upheld.
